Turkey (or Beef) Sloppy Joes

I've been using this sloppy joe recipe from Cooking Light for years.  It's really good!  Most of the time though, I end up throwing a bunch of ingredients together until it tastes the way we like it (on the sweet side, with just a little kick from the cumin).  This is one of those things where you really can't go wrong, measuring is not necessary!  I started making a big batch of this recently, only to discover I was out of bar-be-que sauce.  I ended up using 3 cans of diced tomatoes, about 1-1/2 cups of ketchup, a touch of brown sugar, and some cumin.  I combined it all with approximately 3 pounds of cooked ground beef and let it simmer away in the crock pot.  Delicious!

1 pound ground turkey
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 large yellow onion, chopped
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 8 ounce tomato sauce
1/2 cup BBQ sauce

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add turkey and cook about 6-10 minutes. Drain and place in another bowl. Heat oil in skillet; add onion and spices. Cook, covered, for 6 minutes. Add turkey and sauces. Bring to a simmer; cook, uncovered for about 5 minutes
