Italian Style Rice

"Mama, when can you make that yellow rice?"  This is soooo good, it's got to be our all time favorite rice recipe!  It goes great with my cracker crumb chicken and steamed broccoli.

3 tablespoons butter
1 cup uncooked rice, rinsed
3-3/4 cup chicken broth
dash ground turmeric
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan

Saute butter in pan.  Add rice; cook over medium heat two minutes, stirring constantly.  Stir in broth and turmeric.  Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.  Add parmesan just before serving.
