Cranberry Gelatin Mold

I love cranberries any time of the year. This is a refreshingly fruity gelatin for a smoldering summer day!

1-6 ounce box of cranberry or raspberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1-16 ounce can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 cup cold water
1-8 ounce tub Cool Whip
1-16 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup crushed walnuts

Mix gelatin and boiling water together until dissolved. Add cranberries and cold water. Mix well. Chill until syrupy. Place in a large bowl and whip until fluffy with an electric mixer. Add whipped topping, pineapple and nuts. Stir gently until well blended. Pour into a large, greased mold. Chill until set. Unmold on a chilled platter.
