Orange Julius

I remember as a teenager going to Olga's with my friends. They have the best food! We all loved their orange julius'-they're wonderful. I came across this recipe years ago-kinda reminds me of those orange push-ups the ice cream truck would have. I love making this for breakfast when we have company. You do want to serve it immediately or the juice will separate from the icy froth. This is a great drink for a sweltering summer day, which seems to be about every day now. Enjoy!

1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
10 to 12 ice cubes (more if you want it thicker)

In a blender, combine orange juice, milk, water, sugar and vanilla. Cover and blend until smooth. With blender running, add ice cubes, one at a time, through the opening in lid. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately. 4-5 servings
